About to ICAASS 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Art Appreciation and Social Sciences will be held grandly in Guangzhou, China, a cultural hub of Lingnan and a core city in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. The aim of this conference is to build an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural international exchange platform, bringing together experts, scholars, artists, curators, and social workers from around the world in the fields of art theory, aesthetic research, sociology, anthropology, cultural policy, education, and public cultural management to explore how art perceives, interprets, and promotes social change. The conference focuses on the multiple dimensions of art appreciation and its interactive relationship with social structure, identity recognition, public space, community participation, digital media, and cultural governance. The topics include but are not limited to contemporary art criticism and reception theory, the role of art in social healing, museums and public cultural services, art education equity, the social value of cultural heritage, visual culture and social movements, and local art expression in the context of globalization. Guangzhou, as an open and inclusive international city that blends history and modernity, provides rich cultural resources and practical cases for conferences. We sincerely invite researchers and practitioners from around the world to actively submit articles and participate in the conference, exploring new perspectives and possibilities for the intersection and integration of art and social sciences!

All full paper submissions to the ICAASS 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICAASS 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to aassic@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
